Am reusit sa termin si acest serial. Marturisesc ca m-am cam dus "la pomul laudat" si am o senzatie de neimplinire a asteptarilor. Poate pt ca ma asteptam ca aceasta poveste de dragoste sa fie tratat altfel. Inclin sa cred ca e vorba aici de indicatii regizorale. Mi s-au parut mult prea lungi scenele in care, din diverse motive, personajele incremeneau cu ochii pironiti inaintea lor. Sigur, era evident ca au vazut ceva ce i-a socat (metoda s-a aplicat si in alte filme si mai stiu si din proprie experienta ca atunci cand vezi ceva care parca te izbeste in moalele capului ramai cateva secunde ca paralizat) dar parca dura prea mult pana cand vedeam care e motivul acelei subite transformari in statuie. Cred ca am fi inteles f bine cat de intense erau sentimentele de dragoste si fara sa se uite atat de perduti unul la alta si vita-vercea.
Sigur, e cam greu sa accepti ca o doctorita ajunsa la 30 de ani si pastrnadu-si, dupa toate aparentele, o parte din naivitatea de adolescenta (memorabila scena din vestiar cand s-au hotarat sa se schimbe de haine si sa se dezbrace intorcandu-se cu spatele unul la altul) e in stare sa renunte atat de usor la ceea ce parea o partida f buna, un baiat de bani gata f bine educat, cu studii universitare, numai pt ca acesta are o amanta (mi s-a parut cam slabut argumentul) si in acelasi timp acceptand cu inima usoara ca iubitul vecinei sale, care era gata-gata sa ii daruiasca un copil, sa devina iubitul sau (ei, poate nu cu inima chiar asa usoara) trecand peste diferentele de educatie (in cazul lui mai degraba lipsa ei, desi la un moment dat tatal ei, reverendul, incearca sa dreaga, pt noi telespectatorii, busuiocul afirmand ca nu si-a educat prea bine fiica) si pregatire profesionala.
Mi s-a mai parut curios si faptul ca o persoana atat de inteligenta si capabila din toate punctele de vedere, avand studii aprofundate in mai multe domenii, cum era Sang-Taek era un gangster atat de devotat. N-am inteles nici diferenta de tratament a celor doi baieti aplicata lor de cel pe care ambii in final l-au acceptat ca tata, Prezidentul Kang, cum n-a inteles acest lucru nici Sae Yeon. Iar Kim Nam Gil in rolul lui Tae Sang nu prefigureaza deloc starul care va deveni dupa Queen Seon Deok si apoi Bad Guy.
Daca in primele episoade am apreciat scenele de umor in urmatoarele am avut impresia ca s-a cam renuntat la umor in favoarea dramatismului. Iar in ultimele episoade, cu crancenele lupte dintre bandele de gangsteri mi s-a parut cel putin curios ca n-a aparut nici macar picior de politist, lasa ca din serialul asta, dar si din altele, ai putea trage usor concluzia ca in tara asta nu exista politie. In schimb am aflat cu stupoare ca, in 2007 cel putin, exista pedeapsa cu moartea.
In materie de obiceiuri am remarcat faptul ca la ei, contrar a ceea ce ne invata pe noi codul manierelor elegante, e civilizat sa-ti lasi incaltamintea la usa, lucru care la noi se practica mai ales in familie. Deasemenea un gest obisnuit, de a-ti pleca in chip de aprobare capul e valabil si la ei, spre deosebire de musulmani (turci, dupa cum am citit la Mihail Sadoveanu) unde acest gest semnifica o negatie.
Acum e adevarat ca Mi Joo se presupune ca e crestina, am fost insa surprinsa cu cat entuziasm au agreat gangsterii ideea de a face un gest umanitar de Craciun.
Insa ce mi-a placut cel mai mult in acest film a fost partea muzicala, in special cantecul care a constituit tema filmului, Go-Hae, Confesiune, pe care l-am gasit pe Youtube intr-o interpretare care mi-a placut f mult, a lui Chi Yeol, dar si in interpretarea lui Lee Seo Jin, care mi-a placut mai putin, macar ca actorul isi canta din toata inima iubirea pt interpreta lui Mi Joo, Kim Jung Eun (asta inainte de a interveni mama lui pt a-i desparti). In film se pare ca cel care a interpretat cantecul a fost Yim Jae Bum
