În ”Lost you Forever” de Tong Hua unele scene se petrec într-o grădină de Phoenix Trees, adică Poinciana, adică Delonix Regia. Se spune că ea, împreună cu vărul său obișnuia să mănânce florile acestui copac, care erau foarte dulci. Pentru că poinciana este tot o leguminoasă ca și salcâmul mi-am amintit cu câtă plăcere mâncam noi când eram copii florile de salcâm.
Am găsit și un song cântat, între alții de ”unforgetable” Nat King Cole. Am copiat fragmente din articolul din Wikipedia unde a fost publicat numai în engleză, precum și versurile cântecului, dar dintr-o altă sursă. Am pus și link pentru cântec.
Ca ilustrate am folosit atât imagini din serialul chinezesc, ecranizare a romanului amintit mai sus, ”Love You Forever” cât și imagini cu Pointiana culese de pe net.

Delonix regia este o specie de plante din familia fabaceelor, originară din Madagascar. Se remarcă prin frunzele sale asemănătoare celor de ferigă și culoarea vie, roșu-oranj, a florilor. În multe ținuturi tropicale este crescută ca plantă ornamentală.
