Ce verde era valea mea - ”The Young Ones”

 M-a transportat Adelina, prietena mea de pe Facebook, înapoi în tinerețe când în ultimii ani ai lui Gheorghiu Dej s-a produs un dezgheț cultural. Și astfel a rulat pe ecranele cinematografelor noastre, printre altele, un film englez intitulat ”The Young Ones” unde protagonist era simpaticul Cliff Richard. Atât de simpatic încât în paginile ”Programului de radio” (vă vine să credeți că a existat așa ceva?) la rubrica ”Să învățăm limba engleză cântând” (duse erau deja vremurile cu ”să învățăm limba rusă cântând”) s-au publicat versurile acestui cântec. Din păcate lecția a fost destul de greoaie pentru că textul nu era scris într-o limbă literară.

Limba engleză am învățat-o singură ceva mai târziu, folosind manualul de ”Limba Engleză fără profesor” de Leon Levițchi și Dan Duțescu. Am aprofundat-o apoi când Anca m-a dus de mână în februarie 1989 la Biblioteca Engleză (British Council) de unde am împrumutat nenumărate cărți și chiar DVD. Mi-a prins extrem de bine după 89, mai ales acum.
